You explore a connected planetary world, bringing together biological abilities and computational tools. Progress means having more ways to act, solve problems, and build a life of your own.

ALife was the prototype. ALife OS is the product now taking shape. Welvet supplies the underlying AI research and engine direction; the chaos simulation work supplies the world in which those ideas can be tested.

01 / BIOLOGY

Proto discovers.

The biological side of artificial life. The design explores animal forms and natural abilities: clinging like a gecko, gliding like a bird, or jumping like a frog.

02 / COMPUTATION

Kee gives it structure.

The mechanical side. Gadgets provide the tools; algorithms provide the logic. A grappling system and a pathfinding strategy do different jobs, and can work together.

03 / YOUR ARTIFICIAL LIFE

You bring it together.

A persistent combination of forms, tools, and behaviours. The long-term design rewards an expanding range of possibilities, rather than only a higher level.

The world today.

The current multiplayer foundation has seven connected planets, shared physics, companion forms, and travel between worlds. Players can join as guests, move through the world, and combine or separate their trio.

World simulation is owned by a Go service, with a browser interface drawing the experience. The current multiplayer implementation does not yet include the earlier AI, voice, and chat subsystem.

THE DIRECTION FROM HERE

Discover → combine → master.

The wider roadmap includes animal powers, gadgets, algorithm-based builds, procedural challenges, and recording mastered routes. Learning while acting is a research ambition, not a claim that all of these features are complete.

Earlier projects tried the engine in different settings. ALife OS brings that exploration toward a coherent product: a world where artificial life has a place to grow, and where the underlying technology can become something people understand by using it.
